SHOP POLICIES
Walk-in Policy
PMBS operates by appointment only. Clients who walk in expecting a service, will be offered the next appointment available. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Cancellation Policy
All appointments scheduled with PMBS are nonverbal agreements between barber and client. Cancellations of appointments must be made at least 3 hours in advance to ensure the appointed slot is vacant for another potential client. Post Modern Barbershop holds the right to charge clients who fail to cancel their appointments before the 3 hour window.
No Call, No Show Policy
PMBS looks at no call, no show appointments as an insult to our craft and trade. In the event of a no call, no show occurrence, the offending client will be charged for the missed appointment before another appointment will be made under that clients name. If a call is placed with in the 3 hour window, please see our cancellation policy.
Tardy Policy
In the event of a client being 5 min late without a courtesy call, PMBS will mark the client as a no call, no show and will then charge the client for the missed appointment under the no call, no show policy.
After Hours Service Policy
If the client is in need of a service and a request is after the standard hours of operation, a convenience fee of $10 will be added to the overall total of the service (this is NOT a tip). After hours appointments must be made via phone and can not be made through the app or website.
Straight Razor Policy
PMBS takes pride in the fact that we are one of the very few barber shops still utilizing a traditional straight razor and leather strop. We believe it is a time honored barber tradition, and is saved for gentlemen who have reached the age of 16. At no time, will our barbers use a straight razor on young men under this age.
Online Sales & Shipping
The PMBS online store is open for sales and shipping to Indiana address only. The sale of Black Rifle Coffee products online is prohibited by our distribution agreement.
Discount Policy
Senior- reserved for clients 65+
First Responder- reserved for clients that are actively serving the community as a Law Enforcement Officer, EMT, or Firefighter.
Military- Reserved for clients who are actively serving in a military capacity. Active Duty, National Guard, or Reservists.
*The discount is reserved for these clients, and can only be transferred to a child under the age of 18 if a single mom is passing the discount to their son.
